Course Overview:

This course will introduce young researchers to the basic concepts of labor economics and its condition in India. The course will also introduce these researchers to how to analyze the condition of the Indian labour market over the years with the help of national-level data in the statistical software STATA.

Ph.D. in Economics – Jawaharlal Nehru University

Dr. Priyanka Chatterjee is presently serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and International Business, School of Business Studies, Sharda University. She was formerly working as Assistant Professor, School of Management, Presidency University, Bengaluru and Senior Programme Coordinator and Data Analyst in Public Health Resource Society (Network). Apart from this, she has worked as Guest lecturer in various colleges of Kolkata (Asutosh college and Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology and Management) and New Delhi (Sri Guru rech bahandur Khalsa College). She has also worked as Research Associate in Ministry of Commerce and Industry. She is actively involved in various Consultancy works and research projects over last 6 years.
