Meet Mr. Vikram Rangala Your Course Faculty
CMO, Zebpay (India’s largest and most used Crypto exchange)
Vikram Rangala is the Chief Marketing Officer of ZebPay, India’s oldest and most widely-used Bitcoin and crypto asset exchange. He came to this job from a non-traditional series of careers and not a typical marketing background. For 15 years he was an award-winning professor at the University of Florida in the US, teaching writing and communication to Honors and MBA students. In the private sector, he has worked as a financial analyst, communications director, and independent futures trader. An avid student of economics, his TEDx talk on reinventing capitalism led to his interest in Bitcoin and blockchain as tools for reducing poverty and inequality. In 2019, he joined his former student Rahul Pagidipati to help relaunch ZebPay as a social enterprise to bring financial opportunity and inclusion to millions.

Prashanth is a technologist with a keen interest in equitable and sustainable technologies. He has worked for Tesla where he won an award for his work on the Model S ramp up and helped accelerate the transition to sustainable transport. He was also a member of the research faculty at Georgia Tech, performing applied research in renewables for the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, Coca Cola, and Southern Company. Most recently he led operations and research for Keep Network, a privacy layer for public blockchains.
